Crio has started an accelerator program that will give startups and companies the opportunity to use its cloud infrastructure to build their own web server solutions.
The accelerator program, known as Crio Web Server Accelerator, allows startups and small companies to get $250,000 to $500,000 for their projects.
Crio said it hopes to raise $500 million in the next year.
The program will focus on projects that are “transformational for Crio.”
The accelerator will be a collaboration between Crio and the Apache Cloud Initiative, an organization founded by Google co-founder Larry Page.
The Crio Accelerator program will be open to startups and large companies in both the private and public sectors.
Crio is one of the most popular cloud hosting providers, with over 70 million users worldwide.
In 2016, it reported revenue of $3.6 billion and a market cap of $12.6 trillion.
